Royal Bay Care Homes Pay their Respects on Remembrance Day
For each of the care homes in the Royal Bay family Remembrance Day is always a solemn occasion during which our residents and staff pay their respects to all of those in the armed forces who lost their lives in the line of duty. It is important to never forget the unfortunate souls who made the ultimate sacrifice and the Royal Bay Care Homes always commemorate the day with the respect and dignity it deserves. As well as the traditional two minute silence, a number of our care homes chose to pay their respects in other ways too.
Claremont Lodge Care Home, one of our care homes in West Sussex, put on a special service for residents, staff and their neighbours from Claremont Gardens. It was a truly lovely event.
Castlefarm Retirement Home, rest home in Poole, worked hard to create amazing homemade poppies. They were sold to staff, friends and family members with all of the proceeds going to charity. A fantastic effort by those at Castlefarm.
The Old Vicarage Care Home, residential nursing home in Kettering, gathered together in the lounge to pay their respects with their handmade poppies and lovely knitted poppy wreath.
