It goes without saying the past 12 months or so have not been without their difficulties however, with the vaccine rollout progressing well the future is beginning to look much brighter, and that is especially true in some of our Royal Bay Care Homes.
We’re thrilled to confirm that our three retirement homes in Dorset have received both rounds of their COVID-19 vaccine. The residents of Larks Leas, rest home in Blandford, Forest Hill House, nursing home in Wimborne and Castle Farm, care home in Lytchett Matravers, are all relieved to be fully vaccinated and very much looking forward to restrictions easing and life getting back to something resembling normality. We hope that our other care homes won’t be far behind in terms of receiving their full vaccinations and that we’ll be allowed to welcome visitors again across our entire estate.
We’re so proud of our teams and the incredible levels of care and support they’ve shown during very difficult circumstances. Whilst high standards will remain, at Royal Bay we’re all eagerly awaiting the day we can simply provide the excellent care we’re renowned for without also having the stresses of the pandemic to deal with. With many of our residents now fully vaccinated, this day looks closer than ever!
